![]() Initial setup is more expensive than initially expected as you need a plug (£10) Remote (£15) Hub(£25) but once you have that, each additional plug is just £10. You need the bulb, a remotr control and the hub to control them from your phone or Alexa or Siri. Plugs are cheap and you can just keep expanding it. (Alexa needs a similar setup to HomeKit) Once you have this stuff working HomeKit, it's great. Now you can get HomeKit automations and Siri integration, and you have the full power of the setup. Once you have this all working with the IKEA app, you can add the Hub to your Apple HomeKit by scanning the code on the back of the Hub. Quick release plug allows fast safe removal of your active sub boxes and or expensive amplifiers and powered audio equipment. Note that the remote control is probably only going to be used to pair the plug to the Hub, and then you'll do everything from your phone. This means to get control from your phone, you need at least 1 plug, one remote control, and 1 Hub. This now allows individual control of the devices. You will now be able to use the App on your phone. ![]() Not very useful, they are capable of far more! Add the Round Base Station and cable that into your Router and you can now get the power of the toys. You can control up to 10 plugs with the remote control.
